When removal is the right call

We do not remove trees we can save. But some trees are past the point where pruning, cabling, or pest treatment will help. A trunk with significant decay, a major lean that developed suddenly, large dead limbs over a roof, root damage from trenching or construction, or a species planted in the wrong place — like a cottonwood ten feet from a foundation — are all situations where removal is the safest, most honest recommendation. We will tell you straight: if a tree can be saved, we'll quote the work to save it instead.

How we remove a tree safely

Most El Paso yards are tight: block walls, pools, sheds, gas meters, and neighbors' fences are inches away from the drop zone. We rarely fell a whole tree in one piece. Instead, we climb or use a bucket truck and take the tree down in controlled sections, lowering each piece with rigging lines so nothing hits the ground free. For very large or hazardous trees we bring in a crane. Our crew is fully insured for property damage and worker injury, and we pull permits when the city requires them.

What happens after the tree is down

Once the tree is on the ground, we feed brush into the chipper, cut the trunk into manageable rounds, and haul everything away in the same visit. We rake, blow, and walk the site so you don't find debris a week later. Stump grinding is a separate service, but we can usually schedule it within a few days of the removal so you can move on with sod, a new planting, hardscape, or whatever you have planned for the space.
